<p>Finding your lifes purpose is the real key to living a happy and rewarding life.  All religions and spiritual teachings address the general question &#8220;Whats life about?&#8221; and then they give you an answer to help you lead a happy, fulfilling and productive Life.  But beyond generalities such as being a good parent, or spouse or friend or even just a good person, we each have a unique lifes purpose that only we can achieve.  Yet, ask most people whats life about for them, and they are unable to give you a specific answer.  Still, I think most of us sense in our innermost being that there is a path, a role we can play, something we can do that is particularly important.   But, despite that inner knowing, grasping just what your lifes purpose is remains very illusive to most of us.  But if you can answer &#8220;whats life about?&#8221; for you, you will be on your way to a profoundly happy and fulfilling life.</p>
<p>If you are serious about discovering your lifes purpose, here are some simple strategies.  Use these to help you answer the age old question, &#8220;Whats life about?&#8221;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Step One</span></p>
<p>The first thing you need to do in finding your lifes purpose is to let go of the noise and static in your brain which keeps you from hearing the small, quiet voice in your heart.  Your brain is great at helping you organize the activities in your life, but the answer to whats life purpose is found in a deeper part of yourself, in that part that is connected to the Oneness.  This part of you speaks to your through your heart, not your brain.</p>
<p>I will assume that you already have some interest and belief in spirituality, otherwise you would not even be asking whats life about and how do I find lifes purpose.  So you are probably already aware that you and only you are responsible for your own personal and spiritual growth.  Others can give input and guidance, but in the end, you alone must decide what is appropriate for you.  This all begins by learning how to listen to your inner voice.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Step Two</span></p>
<p>The first step in learning to listen to your inner voice is to recognize that you do in fact have one.  Everyone does.  Rest assured you are not the one person who came into life without it.  Take it on faith that you do have an inner voice that is tapped into the Oneness of Life and that it will guide you toward what is best for you.  Your inner voice will answer the question &#8220;Whats life about?&#8221;, it will tell you your lifes purpose, and then it will help you to achieve it.  One way to start hearing your inner voice is to keep a daily journal.  Journaling helps bridge your brain&#8217;s conscious thoughts with your intuitive, subconscious thoughts.  It is through your intuition that your inner voice will communicate to your conscious self.  The focused exercise of writing helps you clarify random thoughts.  Remember some of these random thoughts originate with your inner voice which is already trying to guide you.  Ask yourself meaningful questions such as, &#8220;What do I want to be remembered for in life?&#8221;, &#8220;What do I want to accomplish before I die?&#8221; and similar type questions.  Answers will start to come to you and soon you&#8217;ll start to discern the differences in your thoughts between your more analytical, conscious brain and your more emotional, subconscious mind.  Practice tuning into your inner voice through smaller, easier questions at first as you start to learn to listen to your inner voice. </p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Step Three</span></p>
<p>You already know what you like.  This is another way your inner voice is trying to guide you.  So participate in things that you enjoy and that you are drawn toward.  Read up on things that interest you &#8211; ideas, places, experiences, people.  As you study and participate in various things that appeal to you, you encourage your inner guidance  and you will find that it in return starts to communicate even more with you.  </p>
<p>Remember, finding your unique answer to the question &#8220;Whats life about?&#8221; is perhaps the most important thing you will do in life.  It is well worth your best effort to find the answer.  And it is through establishing a communication link between your inner voice and guidance and your conscious mind that you will find the reason for your lifes purpose.<script src="http://forms.aweber.com/form/66/1783197566.js" type="text/javascript"></script><script src="http://forms.aweber.com/form/70/1788877870.js" type="text/javascript"></script></p>

<p>If you were to reduce spirituality practice down to one common element, it would be balance.  Personal growth programs all seek balance in the four areas of life:  health, relationships, finances and career.  Our world is one of polarity &#8211; up and down, male and female, in and out, etc so balance is mandatory everywhere on the planet and, most important to us, within our personal life.  Regaining balance in any area that is unbalanced will always result in self improvement help for you. </p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Health</span></strong></p>
<p>We are ultimately spiritual beings having a temporary, human experience and with poor health, your entire life is miserable.  When looking for self improvement help, start by improving your health in order to achieve the goals you set.  Eat well &#8211; lots of natural food, with as little processing, additives and preservatives as possible.  Exercise at least three times a week, you can begin with just walking.  Remember, moderation and balance is key here.  One of the most basic elements in spirituality practice, meditation requires focus and you need a healthy body with good energy in order to have the ability to retain focus. All personal growth programs realize how important health is, so don&#8217;t neglect and don&#8217;t abuse your body.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Commune with Nature</strong></span></p>

<p>Improving self confidence is probably the most important thing you can do to improve your life. Too often we don&#8217;t take advantage of opportunities or self sabotage ourselves if we do because we feel inadequate. It deeply affects every area of our life:  relationships, career, health and finances. This article will provide self esteem help and self esteem activities that you can use to quickly develop a stronger sense of self worth.</p>
<p>1. Know yourself. You undoubtedly need self esteem help now because, in the past, people around you put you down.  Children naturally believe what people say to them, but when these things are discouraging rather than encouraging, low self esteem is the result. Improving self confidence today starts with you deciding that your opinion is now the most important one in your life. Remind yourself that you are deserving. If you need proof, remember almost all the spiritual teachings throughout time have agreed that we human beings are &#8220;Children of God&#8221;; can you rely believe that a &#8220;Child of God&#8221; is unworthy?  Of course you can&#8217;t, so stop telling yourself that you aren&#8217;t worthy. You will increase your self esteem faster if you first change your thinking and then engage in other self esteem activities. Review your strengths and weaknesses as honestly as you can, and then decide to honor and accept yourself as you are.</p>
<p>2. Next, start noticing the activities you participate in and view them from the standpoint of self esteem activities &#8211; do they help or hinder your self esteem? If they hinder it, then you either need to move them out of your life, or at least decrease the amount of your time there, or you need to change the interaction or experience to ones that support improving self confidence. The self esteem help you seek will always originate with the choices you make in your mind first, so honestly review your activities and relationships and consciously make efforts to make them be ones that support strong self esteem.</p>
<p>3. Practice self control. Improving self confidence really boils down to learning to control and focus your thoughts and inner dialogue. This self control is developed through practice. Of all the self esteem activities, this is one of the most important. Don&#8217;t dismiss it because you think it restricts your freedom. In reality, it gives you more freedom since once you have learned to control your thoughts, then you can start using them &#8211; through the Law of Attraction &#8211; to create the life you really want. This is one of the foundation blocks of all self esteem help.</p>
<p>4. Find a purpose. Having a definite purpose to focus on is one of the more underrated self esteem activities but is really quite useful self esteem help. It not only focuses your thinking, thus keeping you from dwelling on your shortcomings, but it helps develop the character trait of decisiveness. Decisiveness goes hand in hand with improving self confidence. Insecure people are indecisive while confident people easily make decisions and move forward with them. You can help clarify your purpose by keeping a daily journal. Write down the question, &#8220;What is my definite purpose?&#8221; but don&#8217;t try to answer it right away. Over time, ideas will start coming to you, so write them down in your journal too. Soon it will all come together and you will discover your definite purpose.</p>
<p>5. Watch your thoughts. Improving self confidence will happen quickly if you change your inner dialogue. Affirmations are one of the most powerful self esteem activities you can do. Use them for self esteem help as often as you can during the day. If you convince your subconscious mind that you are worthy, your conscious mind will follow. <p>6. Greet people with a smile. Look them in the eye. These are self esteem activities that convey confidence to the other person. When on the phone, give your name before you ask to speak to the person you&#8217;re calling. This is how people with strong self regard behave so as you act this way, you will be improving self confidence in yourself. Acting &#8220;as if&#8221; you are a confidence is powerful self esteem help.</p>
<p>7. Show sincere gratitude in accepting compliments and gifts. Showing respect and appreciation for others in giving and receiving is the mark of a confident person.  As you do this, people will naturally respect and appreciate you in return which goes a long way in also improving self confidence in you.  So here again, acting &#8220;as if&#8221; is good self esteem help.</p>
<p>8. Be modest. Only a person lacking self esteem feels the need to brag to make up for the inadequacies he or she feels. Ironically, being modest is great for improving self confidence because when you are truly satisfied with your self will you no longer need affirmation from others.</p>
<p>9. Be positive. Not only about yourself and your good qualities, but in all your conversations with others. Confident people look to expand, not contract. See the glass as half full, not half empty and watch how it affects those around you. They will naturally feel good and enjoy being around you which will go a long way in improving self confidence for you.</p>
<p>10. Always look for the gift. That is, when things go wrong in your life, look for what you can learn from it. Finding value in a difficult experience instead of berating yourself for what you should have done differently is one of the self esteem activities that yields strong self esteem help.</p>
<p>11. Be generous. As you give to someone in need their gratitude and appreciation toward you is potent self esteem help, thus improving self confidence in you. Plus it puts out a positive energy into the universe as well as blessing the person you help. It&#8217;s really a win-win-win situation. Practice giving often then, it&#8217;s one of the very best self esteem activities you can do.</p>
<p>12. Be productive. When you do feel insecure and your confidence is waning. find something productive to do as quickly as possible. Accomplishing something &#8211; anything &#8211; is a great mood changer and allows you to easily switch back into feeling confident and worthy again.</p>

<p>Although beginning a self improvement  program is a life long journey, here you will  find seven simple practices that you can add to your daily routine which will quickly bring you noticeable results &#8211; fast.  Since you are most likely interested in self improvement  (otherwise you probably wouldn&#8217;t be reading this), you may have already heard of some of these through another self improvement program.  But if you consistently use <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">all seven</span></strong> of these strategies, you will be surprised at how fast you start to see positive results.</p>
<p>This simple 7 Step Self Improvement Program is the one I choose to use after over 30 years of study dedicated to personal growth.  I hope you find them as useful and valuable as I do.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>1.  Keep a Daily Journal<br />
</strong></span></p>
<p>This may seem like work at first, but once you get accustomed to writing down your thoughts and desires, you&#8217;ll find it so helpful that you&#8217;ll start to look forward to doing it.  It also encourages you to be more aware of what&#8217;s happening in your life since you&#8217;ll have to &#8220;report&#8221; to yourself later in the day.  This awareness will help you be better prepared when things take a bad turn during the day.  And this will also help increase your self confidence.  Remember, most of the great leaders throughout history have utilized this strategy so you know it works.  Stick with it and make journaling a part of your self improvement program.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>2.  Meditate<br />
</strong></span></p>
<p>This is another one that can feel like a burden at first.  But like journaling, once  you&#8217;ve started to do it and experienced benefits from it, it will become something you pleasantly anticipate doing.  Meditation is one of the most important tools in any self improvement program.  It lowers your stress levels and helps clear your mind so that you can use your mind more effectively.  It  recharges your body&#8217;s energy so that it is stronger and more resistant to illness and injury and it helps your heart stay healthy.  A final added benefit is that it can help people who have trouble falling asleep since it supports more restful sleep.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>3.  Expect to succeed</strong></span></p>
<p>You need to believe that you can and will achieve what you are working toward.  Professional athletes and the top businessmen in the world all program their minds to expect that they will win, that things will go their way, that they will accomplish what they set out to do.  Even if you don&#8217;t know &#8220;how&#8221; you&#8217;re going to accomplish something, if you just believe and expect that you will achieve it, your mind will find a way to do so.  And, through the Law of Attraction, the Universe will start to send you people and circumstances that will help you to achieve it.  Begin from a position of bold expectation and then persevere until you get the results you&#8217;re seeking.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>4.  Write out your goals</strong><br />
</span></p>
<p>When you write down your goals, it helps you to clarify what you really want.  And it naturally points you in the right direction to achieve them.  In other words, it helps you create the appropriate action plan as well.  Writing down your goals will also start to create expectation in your thinking, which though the Law of Attraction, will also help you achieve them.  Goal writing is so important that almost any self improvement program will recommend it.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>5. Maintain balance</strong><br />
</span></p>
<p>The process of living is a holistic process.  All the areas in your life &#8211; health, career, finances, and relationships all interact with and affect each other.  No matter which area of your life you are working on, remember to also give attention and time to the other areas and maintain a level of balance between them all.  This is mandatory to build the physical stamina, the emotional stability, the financial strength and the social support system everyone needs for a happy and rewarding life.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>6. Use affirmations</strong></span></p>
<p>Positive affirmations are a wonderful tool to add to your self improvement program that will help you reprogram your mind to achieve what you desire.  You cannot only use them to modify your actions and improve your relationships, but you can literally change your personality and character with them if you so choose.  You can use affirmations to help you maintain balance by including an affirmation in each of the four areas of your life &#8211; health, relationships, career and finance.  You should say them daily, shortly after waking and shortly before going to bed and the more times you say them during the day, the better.  They&#8217;re even more powerful if you say them out loud.  One great way to use them is to say them to yourself out loud in front of a mirror as you look deeply into your own eyes.  For more information on affirmations, read our report <a href="http://www.attractwhatyoudesire.com/affirmation-statements" target="_blank">Affirmation Statements and Positive Thinking Affirmations</a>.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>7.  Help Others<br />
</strong></span></p>
<p>The Golden Rule and the Law of Karma teach us that what we do and how we treat others will come back to us.  You should help others for that reason alone.  But even more important is how you feel when you help people  (or any living creature for that matter).  When you are able to help someone &#8211; especially a loved one &#8211; but really anyone who is serious need, it is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have in life.  Do yourself and others a favor and have as many of those experiences as you can.  Teaching others is a wonderful way to help them.  And, as you teach, it has an added benefit of helping you to clarify in your own mind the subject your are teaching.  You can start helping others by sharing the principals of self growth that you are now learning.  Of course you don&#8217;t want to force others to accept your ideas, but if you can kindly share ideas with others, you will find many people who are anxious to learn the material.  In the end, we are all on our own life&#8217;s journey which includes our own individual self improvement program.  You never know when a little thing you decide to share with someone can have a significant impact on them which results in a major, positive shift in their life.</p>

<p>The hidden powers of the subconscious mind were discovered over a century ago.  And today almost every topic in the self improvement genre touches on reprogramming the subconscious mind or subconscious mind training or even just ways of changing your thinking as a means of creating a better life.  There is good reason for this.  Quantum physics has now verified that thought does indeed affect physical reality.  The popular book and movie, of &#8220;The Secret&#8221;, has also helped to educate people about this topic of reprogramming the subconscious mind.  By changing your thinking and thus reprogramming the subconscious mind, a person can create the success, prosperity, better relationships and even better health he or she longs for.  It is now a fact that changing your thinking and using specific thoughts for subconscious mind training can literally change your life and help you make your dreams come true.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">The Subconscious Mind and Man&#8217;s Free Will</span></p>
<p>All the major religions and spiritual teachings of the world agree that one of man&#8217;s most precious and unique attributes is his free will.  It is through this ability to make new and different choices that subconscious mind training is possible.  For in the end, changing your thinking is really just a matter of choice coupled with the required effort and stick-to-it-ness. </p>

<p>I don&#8217;t like to preach religion, but even physicists have recently proven that everything is made up of energy and that we live inside an enormous energy field.  Whether a thing is in a solid, liquid or gaseous state is completely determined by the vibration of that thing, that energy.  Whether you believe in God or not (and I personally do), you cannot deny there is a unifying field tying us all together.  And we now know that our thoughts, which are a direct reflection of what our subconscious mind believes, affect the reality we experience.   So by changing your thinking, you are reprogramming the subconscious mind which then changes your vibration.  The Law of Attraction shows us that &#8220;like attracts like&#8221;.  This means that  if you want to attract something in particular, if you can change your thinking so that it vibrates at the same frequency as what you desire, that thing will then be attracted to you and you will be attracted to it.  You may get a flash of inspiration that takes you in the perfect direction to get what you want.   You may suddenly meet the perfect person to help you attain the goal you seek.  Synchronicity begins to happen for you.  This is how subconscious mind training allows each of us to make our dreams come true.  So to make your dreams come true, always begin by reprogramming the subconscious mind.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Never</span></strong> underestimate yourself for at your core is your powerful subconscious mind which is tapped into the flow of the entire universe.  As you start to first watch what you&#8217;re thinking about and then start changing your thinking so that it aligns with those things that you desire, and then the magic starts to happen.  Invisible powers from all across the universe are brought into play which help you and your desire come together.  As long as you hold that same vibration, it&#8217;s a law that you will attract what you desire and achieve your dreams.</p>

<p>This article will explain how to use affirmation statements in the correct way to effect significant changes in your life.  One of the keys to remember is that you are already using law of attraction affirmations all the time whether you are consciously aware of it or not.  What kind of thoughts do you think?  Is your inner voice positive and does it reinforce your self confidence?  Or does it berate you and make you feel unworthy?  Well, whatever your inner voice may be saying to you now, you can change that by consciously choosing new affirmation statements and positive thinking affirmations that build and support a high self esteem so that you feel worthy of success.  Here&#8217;s how to use law of attraction affirmations to change you and your life for the better.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>First, define your standards for feeling worthy<br />
</strong></span></p>
<p>Before you can accept good things in your life, you must feel worthy of having them.  We all deserve to be happy and fulfilled.  So begin by clarifying precisely what feeling worthy and having high self esteem and success means to you.  Nobody else&#8217;s definition matters here, this is your life.  One way to clarify this is by finding a person (it can even be an historic figure) whom you see as having high self esteem and success in life.  Next think about the actions that this person takes (or took) that exemplify confidence, a sense of worthiness and success.</p>
<p>You are going to influence your subconscious mind using positive thinking affirmations and affirmation statements that relate to the actions you correlate with worthiness, high self esteem and success.  Take the actions you chose from the self confident person you picked above and step them down to smaller actions that you feel you can do now.  For example, speaking to strangers, talking to someone of the opposite sex, or even initiating negotiations for something you wish to buy instead of paying full price.  Just be sure these action steps represent the actions of a worthy and successful person in your mind.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Second, formulate your law of attraction affirmations<br />
</span></strong></p>
<p>There are four principles you must use in building affirmation statements. </p>
<p>1.  Affirmation statements must be in the present tense  &#8211; not the past and not the future</p>
<p>2.  Positive thinking statements should be just that &#8211; positive and affirmative in nature.  Never use words like not, don&#8217;t, won&#8217;t, can&#8217;t and no</p>
<p>3. All law of attraction affirmations must be stated in the first person using &#8220;I&#8221; or &#8220;me&#8221;</p>
<p>4. All positive thinking affirmations  need to be action driven.  They are always about doing something</p>
<p>Here are some examples:</p>
<p>&#8220;I successful negotiate &#8216;win-win&#8217; situations for all parties&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I easily speak to women and/or strangers&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8221; I&#8217;m a terrific conversationalist&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I easily follow my exercise program&#8221;</p>
<p>Notice that all these affirmation statements contain all four principles:  they are in the present tense, they are affirmative/positive in nature, they are in the first person and they all involve action.  Using positive thinking affirmations in this way will ensure success for you.   Next you are ready for the final step.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Third, use your affirmation statements!<br />
</span></strong></p>
<p>Law of attraction affirmations won&#8217;t work if you don&#8217;t say them.  You can achieve the best results by saying your positive thinking affirmations out loud every morning and evening, and as many times as you can in between - with as much positive emotion as you can generate.  Try to say your law of attraction affirmations to yourself in a mirror; look deep into your eyes and really feel  as though you are actually doing the actions. Remember you are training &#8211; or really, retraining &#8211; your mind (first your subconscious mind and then your conscious mind) to think in a new way.  Just like exercising results in a new body that you must continue to exercise in or to maintain, so it is with positive thinking affirmations.  If you start to slack off in using them, your results with start to undo themselves.   So practice your law of attraction affirmations every day.   If they start to become boring to you, simply rewrite them.  And remember, it’s important that you feel strong, positive emotions when saying your law of attraction affirmations.  The stronger and more positive the emotions you feel when you are saying them, the more effective you will be at increasing your self esteem and attracting success into your life.  Make your positive thinking affirmations a lifelong commitment, and in return you will find yourself feeling more worthy and becoming more successful and attracting the good things that you currently only dream about, into your life.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.attractwhatyoudesire.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/00314331.jpg"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-453" title="00314331" src="http://www.attractwhatyoudesire.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/00314331-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>Money is a state of mind, so that means attracting money into your life comes from thinking rich.  Having financial abundance really isn&#8217;t about earning it, or really even deserving it.  The truth is, we all deserve it because we are all Children of God and therefore we should enjoy a limitless, expansive life.  Financial abundance is about how much of it you think (subconsciously more than consciously) you should have.  If you have trouble attracting money, it&#8217;s because somewhere in your subconscious mind you feel  and believe you shouldn&#8217;t.  Your subconscious mind is not thinking rich.</p>
<p>There are usually two reasons for this.  First, you may feel unworthy, that is you believe you don&#8217;t deserve to have a lot of money.  This has nothing to do with reality though, it&#8217;s your lack of self esteem that prevents you from attracting money and having financial abundance.  Most people do have self esteem issues and finances is a very common area for this issue to be reflected in your life.  You would go a long way toward attracting money into your life if you find some <a href="http://www.attractwhatyoudesire.com/self-esteem-activities" target="_blank">self esteem help</a>.   </p>
<p>The other reason you may not be thinking rich when you want to be rich is because you associate negative things with money.  We&#8217;ve all heard that &#8220;money is the root of all evil&#8221;, but the real quote is &#8220;the love of money is the root of all evil&#8221;.  In other words, greed is the cause of all evil &#8211; not money.  After all money is really just a representation of work and is neither good or bad in and of itself.  It&#8217;s the values and attitudes we attach to money that matter.  Even if you don&#8217;t think money is evil, you may think it&#8217;s bad or dirty.  Do you like to wash your hands after you&#8217;ve touched it?   Many people do.  You may think it&#8217;s not spiritual since Jesus taught us the meek will inherit the earth.  Of course, Jesus was undoubtedly talking about attitude here and not finances.  You may feel financial abundance is too much of a responsibility.  Or you may use the fact that you don&#8217;t have it as an excuse to not pursue other things in life (for instance your <a href="http://www.attractwhatyoudesire.com/whats-life-about" target="_blank">life&#8217;s purpose</a>, your music, your art, your writing, or even learning or traveling) since you have to devote all your efforts to making or attracting money instead of doing these other things.   In this case, you not having all the money you want and not thinking rich really is just an avoidance technique.  We all resist change, so you really should take some time to evaluate your life and see if you&#8217;re using the lack of money as an excuse to avoid something else.</p>
<p>The key to changing your monetary situation is to find the reasons for it.  Is it your beliefs about money or does not thinking rich serve to support another, non-desirable belief.  Sometimes, just contemplating money will open up issues for you.  But sometimes you may need the help of a therapist, a friend with good insights, or a person who does energy clearing or the like.  And remember, just because you currently have &#8211; or maybe even you always have had &#8211; money issues, you are not destined to always live this way forever.  You can change your situation by <a href="http://www.attractwhatyoudesire.com/subconscious-mind-training" target="_blank">changing your thinking</a>.  The Law of Attraction<a href="http://batcsells.thelaws.hop.clickbank.net" target="_blank"> </a>teaches us that what we think about will be attracted into our lives, and this is especially so when strong emotions accompany the thoughts.  And since money really is a state of mind then, the mind is where you need to focus your attention to make changes in your financial situation and start attracting money and thinking rich.</p>

<p>The Law of Attraction or the universal principle that &#8220;like attracts like&#8221; is probably most used with the intent to create financial security and abundance.  In today&#8217;s economy, the ability to manifest prosperity is mandatory.  This article will introduce how to use money affirmations and some other techniques to help you better your financial situation as quickly and easily as possible.</p>
<p>Two of America&#8217;s greatest thinkers, Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison believed that the human mind emits, or transmits a frequency based upon what that person thinks about.  These frequencies go out into the universe and connect to other similar frequencies, which draws things (people, situations, physical items) vibrating at that frequency back to the originator.  This is why &#8220;thoughts are things&#8221; &#8211; they literally create those things in your life.   So, if you want to manifest prosperity in your life, you must transmit prosperity frequencies which will then begin attracting abundance into your life.  One of the fastest ways to do this is to think about what you want, i.e. money, as often as possible and with as much passion as possible.  Choose powerful money affirmations that excite you and then start training your mind to go to these thoughts whenever you have a spare moment.</p>
<p>Here are some more tips to use with your money affirmations to help you manifest prosperity quickly and begin attracting abundance into your life. </p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>1)  BELIEVE</strong> </span>  Money affirmations won&#8217;t work if you don&#8217;t believe you really can have what you desire.  If your desire is so grand that you doubt you&#8217;ll ever get it, then pick another desire to start with.  If you feel undeserving, you need to change that and feel worthy.  Once you are more confident in your ability to create, then you can start focusing on the bigger desires.  You don&#8217;t have to manifest prosperity tomorrow, start attracting abundance first by bringing in a small amount and then keep increasing it. </p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>2)  ACT &#8220;AS IF&#8221;</strong>  </span> Once you believe that you &#8220;can&#8221; have what you desire, you will quickly manifest prosperity if you can maintain the mindset of already &#8220;having&#8221; it.  If you want money to pay your bills, get in touch with how you&#8217;d feel if you had that money, then &#8220;act as if&#8221; you do, practice feeling like you have it already.  A large part of attracting abundance is &#8220;fake it &#8217;till you make it&#8221;.  The vibrations of these feelings will go out into the universe and bring you back things that will give you more of these types of feelings.  Your money affirmations should be stated in a way that presumes you already have what you desire.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">3)  HAVE PASSION </span></strong>  You need to have a &#8220;burning desire&#8221; when attracting abundance.  The strong emotions attached to the thoughts that you constantly think are what bring in your desire quickly.  This is the essence of attracting abundance in a nutshell.  Your money affirmations should be stated in a way that excites you whenever you think them and that bring a smile to your face without you realizing it. </p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">4)  COMPASSION</span></strong>   Einstein believed we live in a &#8220;friendly&#8221; universe, that is, one that is basically good and not bad.  You will manifest prosperity more easily if you work with the flow of the universe instead of against it.  Be kind to others, do good deeds, offer encouragement, be friendly.  Not only will you find it easier to go with the current but you will be planting seeds that will return like things back to you.  Attracting abundance isn&#8217;t only about finances, relationships and satisfaction are part of an abundant life too.  Don&#8217;t stop with just having great money affirmations, make sure you take actions that contribute to others and the world as well.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">5)  GRATITUDE </span></strong>  No matter how dire your situation, you still have good things in your life.  Acknowledge them and be grateful for them.  The vibration of gratitude is VERY powerful.  The more you have it, the more the universe will give you things that you can be grateful for.  Every program for attracting abundance emphasizes the importance of gratitude.  You will not manifest prosperity if you leave this out.  Spend time at least twice a day, first thing in the morning and last thing at night, going over as many things as you can come up with to be thankful for.  If you do, you will find your money affirmations work even more quickly.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">6)  TAKE ACTION</span></strong>   &#8220;Ready &#8211; fire &#8211; aim&#8221; and that is not a typo!!!  You need to take action.  As you think about what you want to bring into your life more and more and with intense emotions, you will find ideas, circumstances, opportunities and people start coming into your life.  These things are proof that you are attracting abundance, but you have to put effort into them to actually manifest prosperity.  I like to explore all options that come my way.  I may soon decide that one or more is not appropriate for me, but I don&#8217;t make hasty decisions without giving everything a chance first.  Money affirmations will seldom bring you all the money you desire out of thin air.  Used properly, they will however, give you the opportunity to have all that you desire, if you show commitment and dedication to following through with things until you achieve your goal.  So get ready.  Then jump on situations and opportunities as they come to you.  Then reevaluate whether continuing on this course of action is warranted or not. </p>

<p>Your mind can and does ultimately control your weight.  The only true solution to a weight problem must come through retraining your mind.  Weight loss affirmations are excellent for that and some other simple weight loss tips can really help as well.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>1)</strong></span>  Your first order of business is to accept yourself &#8211; completely &#8211; as you are right now.  Compassion for yourself is one of the simple weight loss tips that is often neglected but that yields great results.  You accept the flaws in those that you love, so you owe that much to yourself as well.  Food, for many people, can be a way to self medicate, to dull the pain of a challenging life.  Don&#8217;t berate yourself because you have pain in your life, but be grateful that you have found a way to cope and then move forward in a positive direction to try to improve your life.  Your weight loss affirmations should always include one or more affirmations where you accept and honor yourself as you are right now.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">2)</span></strong>  Create some kind of visual picture with your face on a body that is healthy and within the appropriate weight range for your height, you can photoshop it on the computer or cut out a magazine picture and cut out a picture of your face and glue that onto the picture.  It&#8217;s amazing how a visual picture can and does help reprogram your subconscious mind.  A metabolism that burns alot of calories really helps in weight management and you can change your metabolism by changing your subconscious beliefs about yourself.  Weight loss affirmations are an excellent way to start doing this.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>3) </strong></span> Add some type of exercise to you routine. This will also help change your metabolism.  It will also improve your health &#8211; all body systems will benefit from it, it will give you more energy once you acclimate to it, it will help you think more clearly, it will give you a since of accomplishment and boost your self esteem, and since much of exercise is done outdoors, it will help center you as you spend more time out in nature.  Walking is an excellent exercise.  It&#8217;s easy &#8211; almost every can do it, it needs no special equipment, and it will get you out in nature.  Start out small and add a manageable amount of exercise to your routine at least three times a week.  Exercise of any kind is one of the simple weight loss tips that will also yield multiple benefits.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">4)</span></strong>  Work with your body, not against.  Your body is not your enemy.  Most women and many men are unhappy with their body.  But remember your body is the only lifelong friend you will have.  Other people will come and go in your life, but as long as you are alive, your body is faithfully serving you.  Your heart continues to beat and never takes a rest despite how many times it&#8217;s been broken.  Your cells all continue to repair themselves no matter how many times they are damaged &#8211; willfully much of the time.   All weight loss affirmations should include a statement of appreciation for your body.  Gratitude is a powerful energy.  Try speaking to your body and  tell it how grateful you are that it works so well and acknowledge the many good things about it.  Of all the simple weight loss tips, this one has been one of the most rewarding ones &#8211; and not just for weight loss either.  Try it, I think you&#8217;ll like it too.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>5)</strong></span>  Gradually change the way you eat.  Diets don&#8217;t work.  Only permanent lifestyle changes wil permanently handle weight issues.  But, don&#8217;t look at it from the perspective of having to adopt an eating program you don&#8217;t like &#8211; even a temporary one.  Start by making this easy changes as much as you can</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">** </span></strong>add more healthy foods to your diet as often as possible &#8211; including fruits and vegetables of course.  </p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">**</span></strong> phase out the more processed foods as much as possible &#8211; especially white flour, white sugar and processed fats</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;"> </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">** </span></strong>try to stay away from msg, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners (sugar is even to be preferred over these), hydrogenated oils, </p>

<p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">** </span></strong>try to eat organic fruits and vegetables and animals that have been raised with organic feed.  If you knew how most animals are raised, you wouldn&#8217;t want to eat them anyway.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>** </strong></span>try not to eat after 6 (or 7 if need be) at night.  Get in the habit of having only liquids after that.  </p>

<p>Below is the depression self help I have discovered and used in my holistic treatment for depression that I have battled for 55 years.  These are all natural treatments and techniques.  Since every person is different, though, you need to realize that there is much trial and error involved in you discovering which treatments work well for you.  I also believe that depression is the result of unresolved issues in your life that you are suppressing.  So in order to really win your battle with depression, you should address and handle these issues.  Remember this.</p>
<h3>Herbal Support and Supplements for Depression Self Help</h3>
<p>Saint John&#8217;s Wort (start with 300 mg &#8211; up to up to 1500mg if needed &#8211; once daily of standardized product)<br />
SAMe (200 mg twice daily)<br />
5-HTP (start with 25 or 50 mg once daily &#8211; can increase up to 3 times a day if needed) &#8211; take with 50 mg B complex<br />
Lithium Orotate (120 to 360 mg &#8211; twice daily, this works great for me)<br />
Fish Oil (500 to 1000mg of EPA/DHA)<br />

<h3>Exercises And Activities For The Holistic Treatment Of Depression</h3>
<p>Take an hour long walk out in nature, looking far into the distance as often as possible.  This really helps to rebalance  you mentally and physically.  Gazing in the distance also helps give you a larger perspective and is good for depression self help also.</p>
<p>Rebounding (mini trampoline) is one of my favorites- but be sure you use a high quality trampoline for safety reasons (I use and recommend <a href="http://www.life-enthusiast.com/index/Brands/Cellerciser?ref=10682" target="_blank">Cellerciser</a>), yoga, pilates, aerobics &#8211; any kind of exercise helps &#8211; and not just in the short term.  If you exercise regularly, this helps your body be healthier and stay balanced and is an important ingredient in the holistic treatment for depression.</p>
<p>Do something productive.  Even though you feel hopeless, force yourself to finish a task &#8211; the bigger the better.  This boost to your self confidence is good depression self help.</p>
<p>Go dancing.  It releases endorphines which lift your spirits.  Plus it&#8217;s a fun, social thing to do and is therefore a great addition to your holistic treatment for depression.</p>
<p>Listen to your favorite music.  You probably already know this works.</p>
<p>Help someone in need.  It not only pulls your focus outward and away from your troubles but it is very gratifying and increases your self esteem.  It&#8217;s a win-win situation and is wonderful holistic treatment for depression.</p>
<p>Take a sauna, get into a jacuzzi or take a hot bath.  The heat stimulates the body, helps release toxins and helps to rebalance and relax you physically and mentally.  It&#8217;s an enjoyable and productive depression self help activity.</p>
<p>Get an EMF (electromagnetic field) protector.  I&#8217;ve tried many different ones but I use and recommend<a href="&lt;a href=&quot;http://shop.earthcalm.com/?AffId=29&quot;&gt;Click here to visit EarthCalm.Inc&lt;/a&gt;" target="_blank"> EarthCalm </a>products. </p>
<p>Do cleanses, including liver, kidney, colon and parasite cleanses.  I am a big fan of Hulda Clark and have been doing her cleanses for over 15 years.  <a href="http://www.huldaclark.com" target="_blank">Click here</a> for her cleanse recipes (at the bottom right side of the page).</p>
<p>Watch what you eat.  Sugar and wheat products and also highly processed foods weaken the body and make it more susceptible to depression.  Make notes on what you&#8217;ve been eating before you have a depression episode and then look for patterns.  Once you find what triggers depression in you, eliminate &#8211; or at least reduce as much as possible &#8211; the intake of that food. </p>
<p>Eat as healthy as you can.  Avoid chemicals as much as possible, both in your food and also the drugs you take.  Stay away from artificial sweeteners, MSG and high fructose corn syrup especially.</p>
<p>Be grateful.  Count 20 or even 50 things for which you are truly grateful and watch how it changes your mood.</p>
<h3>Other Tools And Techniques</h3>
<p>Meditation.   Doing this regularly helps you handle stress better and rebalances your body to that you are less prone to depression.  It also helps to center you spiritually so that you don&#8217;t get as depressed.  Meditation is excellent depression self help.</p>
<p>Meridian Tapping.  <a href="http://www.rogercallahan.com/cmd.php?af=1249050" target="_blank">Roger Callahan</a> developed Thought Field Therapy or TFT, a simple and easy to learn technique that is incredibly powerful for changing your state of mind quickly.  It also works on other issues you may have.  It&#8217;s a wonderful holistic treatment for depression technique you should know and use.  I use it often myself.</p>
<p>Energy Work and Health Care Practitioners. Of all the depression self help work that I&#8217;ve done, rebirthing orconnected breathing, has been one of the most effective short and long term practices for me since it helps handle past issues that are suppressed which, I believe, are the root cause of depression.  Another favorite of mine is the <a href="http://www.soulmemorydiscovery.com/" target="_blank">Soul Memory Discovery </a>healing modality.  Other techniques that also yield positive results in the holistic treatment for depression include acupuncture, acupressure, reflexology, massage, reiki, chelation therapy, craniosacral therapy, light therapy, sound therapy, color therapy, hypnosis, chiropractic treatment, osteopathic treatment, electro-stimulus machines such as TENS, Scenar, electro acuscope, electro myopulse, and rife machines, laser therapy, and of course therapists, energy workers and light workers.</p>

<p>This is a very grand promise, but I really can answer the question how can we change the world and make paradise on earth.  What’s even more astounding it that you probably already know the answer already, too.  But like so many profound concepts, the simplicity of it causes us to miss the point.  The key to Paradise on Earth is the Golden Rule of Christianity, that is:  Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.  It is also akin to the law of Karma in the eastern religions, that is:  what goes around, comes around, with the implication being, treat others the way you‘d like to be treated.  The Christian version is stated as a directive, the eastern version states is as a fact, a law or rule of life.  The Law of Attraction is the current, modern take on it.  All Major spiritual teachings advocate this principle.  I believe it&#8217;s divine instruction for us on how can we change the world and make it better.</p>
<p>Think for a moment, how can we change the world  if we lived according to this principle &#8211; if we treated other people the way we want to be treated.  People wouldn’t kill other people or rob them, or beat them, or rape them, or harm them, or even just be rude or nasty to them.</p>
<p>Now it is true that some people are sick or mentally unbalanced.  But those who are not sick or unbalanced would, under this directive, loving tend those who are.  If someone did a bad deed, every effort would be made to rehabilitate them instead of subjecting to the horrors of many of our prisons where they now often come out even more unstable and dangerous than when they went in.  Those who couldn’t be rehabilitated would be cared for and supported in hospitals or institutions in a loving and respectful environment.  How can we change the world?  Living our lives like this would surely do it.</p>
<p>It’s interesting to reflect on this.  The more I do so, the more I realize that it really is the answer to how can we change the world for the better and solve all our problems.  However, even more interesting I find, is the fact that it is just so difficult to live this way.  I have believed in the value of living by this creed for years, and yet I find that I don’t actually “do” it that often.  I have often pondered why but I’ve never come up with a good answer.  Still, I’m not ready to abandon it yet and I&#8217;ve actually come up with a pretty good plan for doing it now. </p>
<p>What if we made a goal for ourselves of doing this just once a day (to start with)?  It could be a small thing, as simple as letting someone go ahead of you in line at the grocery store when you have 30 items and they have 5.  It could be letting someone merge in front of you in traffic.  It could be as simple as smiling and saying hello when you pass someone on the street.  Or it could be something bigger like donating to someone in need, or a cause you believe in, or volunteering your time to help someone in need.  Whatever you feel you want to do that day is fine.  I notice that when I do a good deed, or even when someone does a good deed for me, that I walk away feeling happy and ready to do a good deed in turn for someone else.  But when I behave poorly or am treated poorly, I leave irritable and am likely to be rude to the next people I encounter.  I know I like the former better than the later and this little exercise helps to automatically set me up for that. </p>
<p>After a few days, it’s easy to do 2, 3 or 5 deeds a day.  A while later, even 10 or 15.  Whatever number seems comfortable and readily obtainable can be your cut off number.  Also, if  I have a bad day and only do 7 or even 0 good deeds when I’d planned for 15, I  accept that, forgive myself and start fresh the next day.   It’s not a race, but a way of life and life ebbs and flows.  We have good days and bad days and it’s futile to beat ourselves up when we have a bad day.  Just let it go and move on.  I find it helpful not to put too much pressure on myself.  The point is to feel good about doing good things, and encourage that behavior by means of setting up achievable goals, recognizing that the important thing is the “living“, not the “tallying up&#8221; of goals achieved.  This is an important point so remember it.  And, the goals themselves, while valuable in and of themselves because they set up a chain reaction of good things, actually do double duty by setting me up to feel happy, uplifted and proud of myself.  How can we change the world if a whole bunch of us were doing this?  A lot I would say!</p>
<p>So there you have it, the simple but profound answer to how can we  change the world for the better.  And it&#8217;s a way to start implementing it slowly so that it&#8217;s doable and achievable for everyone.  I hope you will also adopt this practice.  And please share it with anyone who also asks how can we change the world.</p>
